We have just received an email from Tim Byrne asking for help this saturday with the disable surfers. Meeting place will be the first groyne (near rock wall) starting time 8.30am finishing 12.00am with lunch thrown in.
If you have never volunteered for this it is the most rewarding day you will ever have. Look forward to see our club members down there helping out.

Caloundra Malibu Club are hosting the 12th annual Fun in the Sun Team surfing challenge on October 20 & 21.
The emphasis is on fun in this unique longboarding competition. It’s about surfers of every generation – Grandpas & Grandmas through to their grandkids – getting together for a weekend of waves, good fun and great company. It’s a team challenge, your team competing against other teams rather than competing as individuals. It allows families, friends, clubs and workmates to team up and have some fun with a splash of friendly rivalry.
Congratulations Sunny Coast on posting such a convincing win over the weekend!! Great effort to all those involved – competitors, Club committee members, officials, spectators and our local media!
