The Noosa Malibu Club was established in 1986 and has much to be proud of. We have a reputation around the world for our dynamic team, which frequently includes age division and open Australian champions. The Club conceived and developed the Noosa Festival of Surfing, an event that has now earned international recognition and is in its 38th year. The Wrecks & Relics competition caters for more mature members of the surfing fraternity, allowing them to continue meeting & competing with their peers, and the more recently created Noosa Logger event takes us back to surfing's more traditional roots. The club has also given thousands of dollars to various charities and our community.

From our midst some amazing surfers have emerged into the world of surfing, going on to win both World, Australian & State Titles in Junior, Open & Senior divisions.

The Club has members from the junior ranks all the way through to the Over 70’s who compete in State and Australian Championships, but still enjoy the time honoured tradition of a social surf with like minded surfers on their local breaks.

Many others in our club, too numerous to list, have excelled in the art of Longboard surfing. The success of the club is due in part to generous support of our many sponsors. Of special mention are Classic Malibu & John Madill Toyota who have given to the club over many years.

Our Mission
Our Mission is to respect our beach environment, community and surfing culture and enjoy the camaraderie of the surfing experience, the nurturing of our junior members and socialising together as friends.
